Directions for Use

Thoroughly wet your hair at the beginning of your shower, now take the shampoo bar and rub it into the top of your scalp until you feel enough has been left behind to create lather. Place bar aside and workup a nice lather and rinse. Repeat but leave on for about 5 to 15 minutes for proper conditioning, giving you time to complete your shower and then rinse. If you hair is thin, you may want to leave in for only 5 minutes or so to avoid too much conditioning, thus creating a heavy feel to the hair. If you hair is thick, leave on longer for more conditioning and then rinse. After a few shampoos, you'll feel a noticeable difference in the texture of your hair.

Great so far!

I just ditched my regular shampoo and conditioner and switched to this bar instead. It has a good lather and rinses out well. It is more hydrating than a regular shampoo, but I found I still need to work in a bit of oil afterward to be able to comb out my long (pandemic) hair. I have also noticed that I don't need to wash my hair as often.

Love this for my silver, shoulder length hair

I had the same experience as others about not generating much lather - so I started using another shampoo bar for washing, then rinse, then coat both sides of my shoulder-length, silver-gray hair with this amazing bar. Then I let it soak in for about the 2 minutes it takes to wash and rinse my body.
What I love about this :-
1. many thanks for making this in a 4 ounce size - so much easier to handle -and lasts longer than other small, round bars.
2. I can't speak highly enough about the conditioner aspect of this. My hair used to have fly-away thin strands - but after this my hair feels softer, thicker and more manageable - especially since I don't use other hair products like sprays, gels, mousse, etc. I also shampoo less frequently with this bar.
3. Almost no hair tangling or coming out on the brush after a shower (which happened regularly with other conditioner bars)

It does take a little getting used to. The lather is not instant, like out of a bottle. BUT the results--oh, my! It leaves my thin. brittle, limp, dry hair: clean, thick, and healthy, with such a beautiful rich shine. And so much less hair loss than any other shampoo I have ever used, ever. Also, I don't know how to account for this, but my hair stays cleaner longer. So I don't have to shampoo as often.
